Hello Reader, Welcome to Edy's Writing World! If this is your first newsletter from me, welcome! If this is one of many, it's nice to have you back, my friend. First of all, Happy November 1st! We are officially entering the holiday season, and I have decided to do things a little differently today. Hang in there as I get my bearings. I talk a lot about indie publishing and how it's like a pendulum. Every now and then you think you know what's going on, and something in the industry changes, and I'm forced to pivot and swing. So here I am, swinging. I love sending curated newsletters with all my news, but I guess I'll try a different approach. At least for today. And I'd love to know what you think of this basic email-y email. Anyway, I have big news to share with you today! Myself and eleven other authors have teamed up for a fun giveaway. Good luck! In other exciting news, I finished another draft (ha! I lost count) of the third and final Block Island story, and I'm getting it prepped for beta readers. If you'd like to read for me, send me a quick email and I'll pass it along when it is ready. This story revolves around the two sisters, Jackie and Joanie, and their mother. One is struggling as a new mom, the other is tired of putting her life on hold for everyone else's bigger problems, and their mother is learning to let go and love unconditionally. Like vinegar and water, there is much tension, and each woman has a mountain to climb. I look forward to gathering your feedback! Before I leave you, I hope you have a beautiful weekend.
